Odditorium Detroit - Volume 2: "Wunderkammer"

Description:
Since this exhibitions theme is that of mystery and wonder, we desire creative work that will compliment our notorious collections at District VII. The collections are generally more fundamental and informative in nature, whereas artists and performers are given full creative license to explore more sensational themes if they so choose. Previously we enjoyed carnival themes, fantasy art, taxidermy art, tiny robot music box sculptures, photographic manipulations, museum quality resin casts, voodoo altar dolls, and a variety of unique interpretations along our oddities theme. We would love to see artists explore these aforementioned themes as well as new forms of appreciation for the curious things in life.
Submissions selected for "Wunderkammer" can be past or new work, however we require that it has not been shown in a local Detroit exhibition in the past 6 months. If selected, Artists will receive a detailed registration / instructions email including shipping and drop off information. District VII will require a $15 Registration Fee for Artists if selected.
